ARCHIVES COMMITTEE

Founded just prior to the celebration of Holy Trinity Parish’s 150th Anniversary in 2010, the Archives Committee preserves the history of the parish by collecting, organizing, and exhibiting materials that document the parish’s long and rich past. The Archival Collection consists of documents, photographs, blueprints, and artifacts dating from the late 19th century through the present. These resources provide the basis for the exhibits which the committee prepares for the exhibit case in the vestibule of the church, and help to inform newsletter articles related to the church’s history. The committee also responds to history-related questions from individuals both within and outside the parish.

The committee meets approximately once a month Friday afternoons. Working groups hold occasional additional meetings in order to complete specific projects like exhibit setup.

Parishioners who wish to join the committee or those with questions or items that they wish to donate are invited to contact the committee at holytrinityarchives@gmail.com.
